Design Lead | Concept - Construction Administration
As the first hospitality project for Katerra, we were tasked with redesigning the Extended Stay America prototype to be optimized for panelization and maximizing our supply chain purchasing model. As the design lead I worked with our team to optimize the layout of the guestrooms and hotel while maintaining the design standards set forth by ESA.
Utilized were the first wall and floor panels to come off the automated manufacturing lines from our Phoenix factory. Also, the first Katerra manufactured windows are installed on this hotel.
